Fly-fishing and mountain biking in Dalarna
Dalarna. Beloved Dalarna. The melody of the dialect, the harmony of nature and the breadth of adventure. There are plenty of things to do here, whatever the season. We visit Dalarna in the summer when fly-fishing and cycling are two of the things you can fill your days with.
Fly-fishing course by Tandådalen
A stone’s throw from Caravan Club Tandådalen we find a watercourse where we can take our first tentative steps. Then we make our way to Fuluälven, part of Västerdalälven, where there are plenty of salmon trout and grayling.

Vasaloppet by bike
Completing Vasaloppet is a winter dream for many, but if you prefer wheels to ski wax, then we recommend summer. The start, as it should be, is in Sälen and we pass all the well-known Vasaloppet checkpoints on our way to the finishing line in Mora. The course follows a 49.5 km forest road, 37 km on gravel and 7.5 km on asphalt. Pump up the tyres, put your helmet on – and off we go.

Orsa Camping
In the heart of Dalarna, right by Lake Orsasjön you will find the four-star family campsite Orsa Camping. Here you will be offered big, traditional Midsummer celebrations, near Orsa Grönklitt and much more.
Caravan Club Tandådalen
Caravan Club Tandådalen is located in the heart of the mountain world of Sälen in Tandådalen and in direct proximity to the ski resorts of Tandådalen and Hundfjället. So you won’t have to go far to keep busy in the winter. In the summer, the mountain world offers, among other things, fantastic nature.
