Uncover Denmark
Our neighbour and not unusually our route further south in Europe, but we have chosen to inspect the country from north to south. We discover many things that we didn’t know existed and feel the wind in our hair and the sand between our toes.

One foot in each sea in Skagen
Standing with one foot in the Kattegat one in the Skagerrak is a strange feeling, and here you can do just that. But Skagen is much more than the northern point of Denmark and the water surrounding it. The community has lots of good things to offer: a friendly atmosphere and many cafés and restaurants at which to enjoy classic Danish food and drink.

Råbjerg Mile – A migrating sand dune
Råbjerg Mile is a migrating sand dune between Skagen and Frederikshavn. It covers an area of approximately 1 km² and moves between 15 and 20 metres per year. This means that in 100-200 years it will cover the main road to Skagen.

Blocart on Rømø
Rømø – a flat island that can be reached by car – is located in southern Denmark, close to the German border. It has what seem like endless beaches, and the landscape offers lovely winds that can be used in different ways. Rømø is an eldorado for kite-flying and blokart enthusiasts. Blokarts can be described as a cross between windsurfing and go-kart.

Accommodation in Denmark

Poul Eeg Camping
Poul Eeg Camping is a high-class campsite in Skagen. There are cottages and pitches and a lovely atmosphere. Many of the pitches are separated by bushes giving the impression that Poul Eeg Camping is smaller than it actually is.

Lakolk Camping
Lakolk Camping on Rømø (Römö) is a fairly gigantic campsite in southwestern Denmark. In addition to lots of pitches and cottages, there are restaurants, food shops and other shops.
