Welcome autumn in Västerås and Kolmården
Many park their motorhome or caravan in the autumn, but we think that’s early. The fact is that there are lots of things to do in our country even when the leaves have changed colour from a lovely green. We try autumn camping in Västerås and Kolmården.

We make juice from our apples
It‘s a little strange that Swedes both throw and import enormous quantities of apples. Spontaneously, it feels like a waste of resources. We have decided to make use of our garden apples and set off for Blåsbo Äppelmusteri in Västerås.

Stargazing in Västerås
Västerås Astronomi och rymdforskningsförening, VARF, (‘Västerås’s Astronomy and Space Research Society’) is run as a voluntary society and here you can gaze at the endless via a telescope. The observatory was built about 70 years ago, but has been maintained with the help of subsidies and donations. Everyone is welcome here, young and old.

Wild animals and dolphin training at Kolmården
Kolmården is located just outside Norrköping and has 75 species of animals, of which many are endangered. We also book an exclusive meeting with the dolphins and their PT, Susanne Adolfsson.
